Arrested in The South Bay: What to Expect
No one ever expects to be arrested. Yet should you find yourself in a situation where you're being arrested and placed in the back of a police car, there are several things you'll want to keep in mind.
First, you'll want to remain calm and be cooperative. Most attorneys will advise that you shouldn't offer up any information beyond the minimum required.
Do not try to resist arrest (you will receive additional charges for that). Officers will generally treat you in the same manner you treat them. Don't fight back, and don't run. Be disrespectful.
If you've been arrested in the South Bay you will likely be taken to one of the local jails: Hawthorne jail,
Hermosa Beach jail,
Manhattan Beach jail,
Redondo Beach jail, or the
Torrance jail.
After you've been booked, you'll be to call a friend to ask for help in being bailed out. Be sure to provide them the name of the jail, the amount of your bail and your full name.
A licensed bail bondsman at Adelante Bail Bonds can help get you out of jail quickly and can answer any questions you might have about South Bay bail bonds. A licensed bondsman is available to speak with you 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
